We will visit the coast of the Basque area of France (Iparralde) visiting two touristic references in the area, but not exempt from interesting stories. Biarritz is a Spa city of the Belle Epoque and surf capital since 1950. We will walk through one of those villas that fit all kinds of lives. Our local guide will tell you about La Grande Plage, the lighthouse, the virgin, the old port and the refined hotel complex where the old mansion built by Napoleon III for the Empress Eugenia de Montijo (Hotel du Palaise) stands out.
Afterwards, they will have free time to taste the wide range of restaurants in Biarritz before moving on to another historical adventure in San Juan de Luz, where our guide will talk about the Basque corsairs of the 17th century, of Luis XIV (Sun King) who married María Teresa de Austria (daughter of Felipe IV) in this town full of colorful Basque houses.
